Off the coast of newly weed-friendly Oregon this weekend, a Thanksgiving miracle burned brightly, 420 feet under the ocean.

Ordinarily, a boat sinking would be no cause for celebration, but this b— *coughs* this boat *waves smoke from in front of eyes* this boat was special. *tugs at hem of BLAZE IT, BABY t-shirt in red-yellow-green gradient*

The Associated Press reports:

The Coast Guard says it received a mayday call about 4:20 a.m. from the crew of the 75-foot Blazer saying they were taking on water 8 miles west of Siletz Bay.

The Blazer sank in 420 feet of water with 2,000 gallons of diesel fuel aboard. The Coast Guard is investigating.

The boat, in case you weren't paying close attention, was called "Blazer." The Coast Guard received a mayday call from its crew at 4:20 a.m., shortly before the Blazer sank in 420 feet of water.

Three crew members were rescued by a Coast Guard helicopter, and the other two were pulled aboard a Coast Guard boat. Three sustained minor injuries.
